Huge congratulations to Tomas Kirby, and the Midland Mencap Big Flyerz Hockey Team who recently won GOLD at the Euro ParaHockey Challenge in Amsterdam, beating Spain 2-1 in the final!
If you’ve visited our Kings Heath café, you may recognise Tomas as one of our lovely volunteers – he’s there most weeks helping out with veg prep and service, and he and his Mum Carol are also Freegan Box delivery drivers, particularly in the Hall Green and Frankley Areas.
