What is Compost Culture?
Compost Culture is a 2 year project supported by the National Lottery Climate Action Fund.
Birmingham based organisations Incredible Surplus, General Public, The Active Wellbeing Society, St Paul’s Community Development Trust & Birmingham Friends of the Earth will be working in partnership to transform the way people think about food waste and composting in Birmingham.

Supported by compost experts, The Compost Connection, compost demonstration sites will be developed across the city where you can learn about how to transform food waste and grow food using the compost produced.
Whether you are a business or organisation looking for an onsite solution to food waste, a keen home composter or a complete beginner, the Compost Culture project will have the resources and tuition to support you.
Check back regularly for updates on our public programme of events – or see our instagram or facebook pages. Check out the Techniques tab above for information on many different composting techniques! More composting resources can be found here https://www.compostculture.co.uk/resources
